Meals on Wheels

Every six weeks volunteers from our church help deliver over 300 hot meals to seniors and the homebound in the cities of Anoka and Champlin.  For many years First Baptist Church has worked with Anoka-Champlin Meals on Wheels.  The meals are prepared by Mercy Hospital.  When the program began in 1973, 10 meals went out the first day and that number keeps growing day by day…year by year…           17,459 meals were delivered in 2007!

Meals on Wheels is a cornerstone of local missions.  A warm meal and a smile can make all the difference in someone's day.

If you are interested in serving with the Meals on Wheels ministry, please call Sandy in the church office (421-5808).         We are always looking for volunteers!!
